Taize Service

What is a Taize Service?

A Taizé worship service involves sung and chanted prayers, meditation, a period of silence, liturgical readings, and icons. There is no preaching.

The style of prayer practised at Taizé has attracted many worshippers from around the globe and from many different denominations.

“I particularly love this service at the darker times of the year, the Church is lit by Candles and it makes me think about the hundreds of years of worship that has taken place in this space”
