Today at Junior Church we celebrated Father’s Day.

We started with some games, and then looked at the famous passage from exodus that speaks about fathers (and mothers)

Exodus 20:12

“Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”

Then, we all thought about our own fathers and what they meant to us. We each picked a word that we thought summed up what they did, and made a group picture.

Next, we made presents for our dads, and even a voucher for them to use as some point – we think Alex’s daddy will appreciate the voucher for the “trip to the pub”!!! 🙂

Then back into church, great fun had by all!!
